To ring in my friend Tim's 21st birthday, we headed over to
Meat Liquor, rumored home of the best burgers in London. Granted I haven't been to every burger joint in town, now that I've been to Meat Liquor, I believe them to be true. The "Disneyland in summertime" line outside the door was more than a little daunting, but if a 1.5 hour wait has you thinking the food isn't justification enough, stay for Meat Liquor's wonderfully gritty decor. I'm a fan of the uber retro American diner, but there's something refreshingly raw about chomping your way towards a triple bypass sans proper dishware and whilst awash in red lighting. Graffiti artist ex-squatter den chic.

Wow, this looks like such a dirty, grimy place... pretty bad-ass for a burger joint! I bet the atmosphere makes up for at least half the taste ;)
