As far as lightweights go, I think I take the cake. But no visit to Dublin would be complete without paying due attention to two special beverages: Guinness stout and Jameson whisky. Since, for the most part, my camera remained safely put away during the Temple Bar district pub crawl, here you have my photoreel from the Guinness Storehouse and old Jameson distillery. In my personal opinion, while both are worth the obligatory one-time visit, the former is a somewhat lackluster tourist trap while the latter is actually quite informational. If you do head over to the old Jameson distillery, get the most bang for your bucks and make sure to volunteer to participate in the post-tour whiskey tasting.
Enjoy the pictures after the jump!

This looks like SO MUCH FUN. I definitely wouldn't go to Ireland without visiting some famous distilleries/breweries like this!
ReplyDeleteAnd good idea keeping your camera hidden during the pub crawl, haha!
