I GO: Fáilte go mBaile Átha Cliath (First Dublin Photoreel)

In case you don't read Irish, the title of this post means "Welcome to Dublin", so I suppose it should be pretty straightforward what this post is going to cover. As mentioned in my previous post, I spent the weekend in Dublin. This was my first visit to the city and to Ireland in general, and I have to say it lived up to all my expectations. Ever since watching "P.S. I Love You", I'd been itching to visit. Stereotypical, I know. But true to the movie, I did stumble into an unusually high number of friendly locals (a rare breed in most cities) and chance upon a pub wherein the live musicians were playing "Galway Girl". Take that as you will.

Given the sheer volume of pictures I have from this weekend, I decided to span my weekend over a handful of posts. This post mostly contains pictures from my visit to St. Stephen's Green and strolling around Dublin in chase of landmarks associated with the city's former literary giants.
