In case you don't read Irish, the title of this post means "Welcome to Dublin", so I suppose it should be pretty straightforward what this post is going to cover. As mentioned in my previous post, I spent the weekend in Dublin. This was my first visit to the city and to Ireland in general, and I have to say it lived up to all my expectations. Ever since watching "P.S. I Love You", I'd been itching to visit. Stereotypical, I know. But true to the movie, I did stumble into an unusually high number of friendly locals (a rare breed in most cities) and chance upon a pub wherein the live musicians were playing "Galway Girl". Take that as you will.
Given the sheer volume of pictures I have from this weekend, I decided to span my weekend over a handful of posts. This post mostly contains pictures from my visit to St. Stephen's Green and strolling around Dublin in chase of landmarks associated with the city's former literary giants. Enjoy the pictures after the jump!
