One of Vienna's most famous landmarks is the Staatsoper, which houses the Vienna State Opera. So when my Austrian friend C told me about the amazing standing ticket deals, I leaped at the chance to watch a ballet in the Staatsoper. Though the standing section was at the very back of the highest level, the €3 price tag and chance to see the talented company of Vienna State Ballet was well worth it. Not to mention, I finally got to try out some opera glasses!
