One of the main reasons I wanted to visit Barcelona was because of Gaudi. After encountering his works in an architecture history class, I became intrigued by the unparalleled creativity of his designs, artificial yet inspiredly natural. So while in town, I jumped on the opportunity to tour the famed Casa Battlo. I'll save my commentary and leave you with these pictures; after all, Gaudi's best experienced through self-interpretation.
Enjoy the pictures after the jump!

I'm so gutted I didn't get a chance to go up when I went to Barcelona last summer! Great photos :)

Lovely photos and fantastic outfit! I'm so jealous that you went inside! I can't believe that I've gone twice and only saw the facade of the building.

OMG.... I just got a goosebumps.... I did exactly the same thing and was photographed by my hubby. Staring outside the window with my guide-phone stick to my ear.... I LOVE GAUDI, I want to live inside his head and let him interpret me. Because the nature he interpret into buildings are exactly what I would have imagined! You went to the right place here..... :))))
