Finals season is approaching at the LSE, so you'll have to forgive the recent lack of posts. Of all the cities I have had the chance to visit in Italy, Florence is definitely among my favorites. Despite there being a bit of truth to the accusation that the compact city is plagued by study abroaders and tourists, I can't help but feel that there's something enchantingly romantic about it. Strolling the cobbled streets, perched on a bridge at sunset, or gaggling on the floodlit duomo steps at night, Florence feels like a fairytale. Complete with moral overtones of civic duty and a bloody historical streak of course.
Enjoy the pictures after the jump!
